The University of Nairobi, Mombasa Campus is committed to deliver high quality service to students, staff, research collaborators, donors, alumni and all its stakeholders as well as the public. It is in this regard that the campus community were trained on Customer Care on 27th/02/2020. They were trained on how to adopt a consistent, professional style when speeaking with customers,skills for engaging with customers and handling their enquiries effectively, identify ways they can add value to customer relationship and exceed expectations
The success of any organisation lies in its human resources capital, vibrant and dedicated human resource team is a sheer promise that the organisation is on a healthy trajectory in terms of its performance. It is in this regard that the University of Nairobi, Mombasa Campus organized a team building event that took place on 15/02/2020 at Sudi Island, Watamu. The Campus has been on the fore front in supporting its staff in all their activities one of them being team building.
The University of Nairobi Mombasa Campus hosted the very first Stories of Significance Youth Edition.
In line with the campus objective of nurturing graduates who will be agents of positive change in our country and beyond, the school of business, Mombasa Campus invited Chief Executive officer of Marketing Society of Kenya Mr.Edward Oswe to give a lecturer on "Marketing opportunities in Kenya".
Well done team UoN Mombasa Campus for being nominated for the Most Preferred Training Institution 2019. Many thanks to all who voted with us and for us. We remain committed to offering quality education. We are delighted and honoured to receive this award, which is an affirmation of our role in and partnership with industry.

Prof Giovanni Carbone gave a seminar on leadership and development in Africa, “Political leadership and development in Africa. The project, the dataset, the findings.”The seminar is based on his forthcoming book, Political leadership in Africa. Leaders and development south of the Sahara.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, The University of Nairobi joined Action Aid Kenya and UN women in the launch of a campaign against Sexual harassment in Higher learning institutions.
The Justice Kathurima M'inoti officially launched the East African Law Journal in Mombasa. The East African Journal was originally started in 1967 to give an opportunity for staff, students and legal professionals an opportunity to publish their research findings.
