September 2020 Admission Information: What you need

Welcome to the University of Nairobi and to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS).

The Academic Year 2020/2021 will commence on Monday 31 August 2020 and the first thing you need is your letter of Admission.  If you do not have your letter of admission, please write an email to admissions@uonbi.ac.ke with details of your name, programme to which you have been admitted to and KCSE Index Number..

Orientation, registration, classes and examination will all be exclusively be conducted online via various virtual platforms.

Registration will be held on Monday, 24th August- Monday 31st August 2020 through the SMIS students Portal

Orientation will be held on Monday, 31st August – Friday, 4th September 2020 through various platforms including Google meet/ University website Livestream and Zoom among others. To download the orientation programme, Click here

Online classes will commence on Monday 21st September 2020 through these platforms; Eclass, SOMAS, and GOOGLE classroom or Google Meet.

Training on how to attend the online classes will be done from Monday, 7th September- 18th September 2020.
