Dr. Sarah Kinyanjui

Associate Dean, School of Law

Dr. Sarah Kinyanjui is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Nairobi, School of Law, Mombasa Campus and is currently serving as the Associate Dean. She also teaches a postgraduate course on Women and the Criminal Justice at the Southern and Eastern African Regional Centre for Women's Law in Zimbabwe. Kinyanjui is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and accredited assistant counsel at the International Criminal Court. She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Leicester in UK and a Master in Laws in Development (LL.M with Distinction) from the University of Warwick in UK and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Honours) from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.

 

Research interests

Dr. Kinyanjui has research interests in criminal justice, restorative justice, human rights, international criminal law, gender and transitional justice.
