The University of Nairobi, School of Law hosted the second roundtable on gender and artisanal mining. Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Mining, academia, community of miners and the National Gender and Equality Commission.These roundtables are part of a research project jointly undertaken by Carleton University, University of Nairobi(Mombasa Campus), University of Sierra Leone and University of Eduardo(Mozambique).

University of Nairobi, Mombasa Campus in partnership with UNSA Mombasa Campus organized women in leadership talk, which theme was   “Women, wellbeing and thriving-trends and transformation. Women play many roles especially in the workplace but these remains a major challenge to many as they are not able to perform effectively and efficiently.
