The School of Business opened its first satellite campus in Mombasa in the year 2004. The motivation behind the establishment of the Campus was to widen educational opportunities in the Coastal region of Kenya by taking education closer to the people. The Campus also provides the Muslim girls an opportunity to access good education while in the care and protection of their parents as demanded by their culture. The Coast region covering Tana River, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kwale and Taita Taveta Counties provide a significant catchment for the Campus.
