Talent Is God Given. Be Humble. Fame Is Man-Given. Be Grateful. Conceit Is Self-Given. Be Careful. This inspires me as a sports Captain to try and nature talent through encouraging students to take part in various sports.
The University of Nairobi Mombasa Campus is well equipped with most sportsactivities and any student can indulge in. We have indoor games; scrabble, chess (these deal with the growth of the brain cells), table tennis. The outdoor games that nurture our human physic generally are basketball, football, loon tennis, swimming, rugby, badminton and volley ball. All these sports are coordinated by a team of captains in charge of the various sports, who are not only students of the campus but all well build and skilled in the various fieldsrespectfully.
We had our first annual sports day on the 1stNovember 2014, which was a success. Thanks to the team work of my captains and the students body,SONU, with the utmost participation of the dedicated students of University of Nairobi, Mombasa Campus? We are here to make a difference in tomorrow’s leadership, leaders who are fit in all spheres of life, not only academically but also mentally, physically and emotionally.
The University gives students equal privilege thus we live as a family and united as brothers and sisters of one home (UoN MSA CAMPUS). Anyone can access the sports page UON MSA CAMPUS SPORTS, a page that was created for openness and ideas brewing from the rest of the student bodies in the sports sector.
I therefore encourage all to come and take part in sports, for it is one way of being healthy as human beings.
Quote of all times: There may be people with more talent than you, but there is no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do. Nurture your talent always.
