The University of Nairobi, Mombasa Campus conducted a one day customer service training for all staff on 21st April, 2017.The main objective of the training was to insight customer care in the day to day operations of the campus so as to improve service delivery, because customer care is significant and often the only connection a customer has with the organization.

 

Speaking during the training Dr. Mary Kinoti urged the campus staff to be friendly, good listener, available, approachable, responsive, listening fairly to others views and opinions and turn customer complaints into opportunities. On her remarks, the campus director Dr. Sarah Kinyanjui urged the staff to put into practice what they were trained and operate with professionalism to bring change in their service delivery.
